Emmy-nominated actor Milo Ventimiglia, known for his roles in Gilmore Girls, Heroes, and This Is Us, has signed on to star in a new drama series at ABC called The Company You Keep. The pilot is based on the Korean series My Fellow Citizens. “A night of passion leads to love between con-man Charlie (Ventimiglia) and undercover CIA officer Emma, who are unknowingly on a collision course professionally. While Charlie ramps up the ‘family business’ so he can get out for good, Emma’s closing in on the vengeful criminal who holds Charlie’s family debts in-hand – forcing them to reckon with the lies they’ve told so they can save themselves and their families from disastrous consequences.”
Julia Cohen (A Million Little Things) is writing and executive producing, and Ventimiglia will executive produce via DiVide Pictures in addition to starring.
This new pilot comes on the heels of Ventimiglia’s hit series This Is Us coming to an end. The show has finished shooting, and is currently airing its final episodes, so hopefully this will be a great new series for the talented actor to stay on with long term.
