Kevin Hart gifted Chris Rock a pet goat named Will Smith, and everyone thought it was hilarious.
At the end of their Rock Hart: Only Headliners Allowed show at Madison Square Garden on Monday night, Kevin brought a pet goat on stage, a nod to being the greatest of all time.
When Dave Chappelle joined the comedians on stage, he asked the goat’s name. Kevin replied:
The name is Will Smith.
The crowd responded in laughter and laughed at Kevin’s reference to the Oscars slap between Smith and Rock because of a joke Rock made about Jada-Pinkett Smith’s bald head, and she suffers from alopecia.
Kevin Hart Says Chris Rock Almost Broke Down In Tears
While everyone was laughing, Hart shared that Rock “almost broke down and cried” when he brought the goat on stage, he later told Jimmy Fallon.
He also shared that the goat defecated on stage.
The goat took a s—t on stage. It was not planned either. That’s the one thing I didn’t think about. I said, ‘The goat’s gonna come out and do a tight two minutes,’ but instead he s—t on Chris’ shoes. He destroyed Chris’ shoes. He had on some white moon boots, and that goat got him.
Will Smith Apologizes To Chris Rock In New Video
Most recently, Will Smith released a video titled “It’s Been a While,” addressing the slap.
In his video, he stated:
It’s been a minute…over the last few months, I’ve been doing a lot of pf thinking and personal work. You asked a lot of fair questions that I wanted to take the time to answer.
Smith also added:
There is no part of me that thinks that was the right way to behave in that moment. There’s no part of me that thinks that’s the optimal way to handle a feeling of disrespect or insults.
The ‘King Richard’ actor also reached out to Chris Rock but was told “he was not ready to talk.”
Will proceeded to apologize to Jada, their family, and this year’s Oscar nominees. Will also shared that letting others down is his trauma and how hurtful it has been to know he has disappointed others.
As a result of slapping Rock, Smith received a suspension from the Academy for ten years.
Roomies, what do you think of this?
